THIRD SERIES 28 & 29: Kenneth Morgan (ed.): Australia Circumnavigated: The Voyage of Matthew Flinders in HMS Investigator, 1801-1803.

The first edited publication of Matthew Flinders’s fair journals from the circumnavigation of Australia in 1801-03. Two volumes of 1014 pages total. Distributed to members in August 2015.

THIRD SERIES 26 & 27: James Gibson & Alexei A. Istomin (eds): Russian California, 1806-1860 A History in Documents.

A documentary history of Russia’s nineteenth-century settlement in California, containing 492 documents, most of which are translated for the first time. Two volumes of 1240 pages total. Distributed to members in July-August 2014.

John Narbrough: Journals of a Voyage to the Strait of Magellan. Edited by Capt. Richard Campbell. Following the acquisition of Narbrough’s important journal by the British Library, the Society intends to publish this as a ‘special edition’ which will include a facsimile of the original in parallel with a readable transcription of the text. Publication expected 2017.
